Who

A middle level manager with extensive experience who wanted to move to a senior position within his current company.

Challenge

Over a three year period, he missed two opportunities; as a result, he felt bitter and disappointed within himself.  With his superior expertise (finance) he did not know why he was missing out on such great opportunities.

Solution

To design and undertake a six month coaching assignment, which included conducting an initial 360 feedback online survey with his nominated stakeholders and a personality profile.

Results

  • He adjusted some of his core beliefs and clarified his value system.
  • Dramatically improved his emotional and social competence and communication style.
  • Eighteen months later he secured the senior level position he had always wanted.
